Your mission with us
Your tasks
You will support our engineering team in manufacturing the implantable micro-electrodes of our brain-computer interfaces.
- Operate and monitor microfabrication equipment: sputter systems, photolithography tools, reactive ion etchers (RIE), and laser structuring systems.
- Perform back-end assembly steps, in particular wire bonding and packaging of finished components.
- Maintain and calibrate fabrication equipment, keep process documentation, and support data analysis of throughput, quality, and reproducibility.
- Perform visual inspections and functional tests on manufactured components, report deviations, and collaborate closely with engineers on process improvements.
Requirements
We are hiring across all experience levels. What matters are exceptional abilities and the drive to push boundaries. This is what sets you apart:
- You have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in manufacturing, ideally in a cleanroom or semiconductor, MEMS, medical device, or microfabrication environment; operational experience with photolithography, sputtering, etching, or wire bonding is a strong plus.
- You work precisely and carefully with small, delicate components under a microscope; fine motor skills and a steady hand are your strengths.
- You follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) exactly and document your work diligently.
- You are reliable, a team player, and communicate clearly.
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent; technical vocational training (e.g., microtechnologist, precision mechanic, electronics technician) is a plus.
- You are willing to travel to Geneva for weekday cleanroom and process training at the beginning of the role.
- You have a basic understanding of physics and engineering fundamentals.
- You have good English or German language skills (min. C1).
